Manazil Terms of Use
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Using Manazil
Manazil is free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes. By using the app you agree to these terms.
What Manazil is
Manazil is an app for reading and listening to the Quran, with prayer times, a Qibla compass and reminders. It is a tool to support your worship. It does not give religious rulings. For a question of religion, ask a qualified scholar.
Prayer times, Qibla and reminders
- Prayer times follow published tables or are calculated from your location. They can differ by a minute or two from your local masjid. If you need certainty, check with your masjid.
- The Qibla direction depends on your phone's location and compass sensor. Some phones have no compass sensor, and Manazil then shows the bearing as a number only.
- Reminders depend on your phone's settings, such as notification permission, battery saving and Do Not Disturb. A reminder may arrive late or not at all.
Verse Finder
Speech recognition can get a verse wrong. Always check the verse you are shown against the Mushaf.
Quran text, translations and recitations
The Arabic text, fonts, translations and recitations belong to their authors and publishers, and are credited on the Credits page. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app or its content, except where the owners of that content allow it.
No warranty
Manazil is provided as it is, without any promise that it will always work or be free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, the publisher is not responsible for loss that comes from using the app or from not being able to use it.
Your data
How Manazil handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
